A 19-year-old is dead after a rollover crash Monday night in Fresno County.<\/p>\n
CHP Central Division says Marlon Tavarez of San Joaquin was travelling eastbound on Manning Avenue, in the eastbound lane, east of S. Riverside Avenue in a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia.<\/p>\n
At the same time, a 19-year-old man was travelling westbound on Manning Avenue, in the westbound lane, east of S. Riverside Avenue in a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado.<\/p>\n
For unknown reasons, the driver of the Freightliner allowed the large vehicle to veer left into the westbound lane, sideswiping the Silverado.<\/p>\n
The Silverado flipped over multiple times and landed on its roof.<\/p>\n
The driver received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
The driver of the Freightliner was uninjured and stayed on scene to cooperate with officers.<\/p>\n
At this time, it does not appear that alcohol and\/or drugs were a factor to this crash.<\/p>\n
