(KFSN) &#8212; The man who was shot in central Fresno on Tuesday has died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">EDITOR&#8217;S NOTE: The video above is from a previous broadcast and will be updated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police say they have taken his neighbor into custody for the deadly shooting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">It happened on Clinton Avenue near Bond Street around 6 pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Officers say 64-year-old Mark Tarasevic was shot once by 74-year-old John Gentry. They have not released what led up to the shooting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Gentry was taken into custody shortly after and booked into the Fresno County Jail for murder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 KFSN-TV.
