Caltrans said traffic is still flowing in both directions through westbound Bore 2 and eastbound Bore 4.<\/p>\n<p>There is no estimated time for a full reopening, but \u201ccrews are actively working to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible,\u201d Caltrans said. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute or use alternate routes.<\/p>\n<p>The bore closures came amidst a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2025\/12\/24\/bay-area-weather-rain-snow-tahoe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">series of powerful storms<\/a>, which have knocked out power, flooded streets and felled trees throughout the region.<\/p>\n<p>Caltrans plans to share updates about the closure on its <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CaltransD4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">X page<\/a>.
