NORAD tracks his visits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.norad.mil\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">North American Aerospace Defense Command<\/a> is once again keeping watch on Santa Claus and the agency said not even an atmospheric river is expected to derail his Christmas Eve journey.<\/p>\n<p>Santa left the North Pole as planned Wednesday morning, officially activating NORAD\u2019s live tracker at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.noradsanta.org\/en\/map\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.noradsanta.org<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>NORAD experts said Santa typically reaches homes between 9 p.m. and midnight local time on Christmas Eve, putting his San Diego County flyover within that window, but only after children are asleep. <\/p>\n<p>This marks the 70th consecutive year NORAD, based at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado, has provided simulated tracking of Santa\u2019s global journey.
