(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Bakersfield Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened on Christmas night.<\/p>\n<p>Police say they responded to a home on Blade Ave near Bakersfield College around 10 p.m. on December 25 for reports of a shooting.<\/p>\n<p>when they arrived, they found a man and woman who had both been shot.<\/p>\n<p>Both died from their injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The Bakersfield Police Department Homicide Unit assumed the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The Kern County Coroner\u2019s Office will release the names of the victims.<\/p>\n<p>This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the BPD at (661) 327-7111.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
