McFarland Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Chevron gas station on Dec. 26. <\/p>\n
Officers responded to the scene at 100 West Sherwood Ave. around 8:33 p.m. after receiving reports of the incident.<\/p>\n
Surveillance footage revealed three suspects arriving in a dark gray Kia Optima with black rims. <\/p>\n
The suspects, armed with firearms, entered the business and executed the robbery. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among employees or customers. <\/p>\n
The business owner reported the theft of two cash registers, valued at approximately $35,000, along with about $1,000 in cash. Investigators discovered that the vehicle used in the robbery had been reported stolen from the Bakersfield Police Department\u2019s jurisdiction.<\/p>\n
The stolen car was found abandoned the following morning. Authorities are actively pursuing leads, and the investigation is ongoing. <\/p>\n
