A pedestrian who was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision on Dec. 20 died from injuries just five days later on Christmas morning, the Fullerton Police Department said Sunday.<\/p>\n
Police responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle just after 10:23 p.m. in the area of South Gilbert Street and Carol Drive on Dec. 20.<\/p>\n
They found a man badly injured and rushed him to a trauma center. The driver failed to stop, render aid or remain at the scene, authorities said.<\/p>\n
The victim remained in critical condition until he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n
The investigation remains ongoing. Police described the suspect vehicle as a white, four-door sedan believed to have sustained front-end damage.
