Clovis police arrested a 21-year-old man after responding to a reported gun disturbance at a home in the 300 block of West Ashcroft Avenue just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Officers were dispatched after a caller reported that someone inside the home was brandishing a handgun. Police said officers ensured the adult male suspect was alone inside the residence and that everyone else had exited, then obtained a search warrant after the suspect refused to come out.<\/p>\n
Police said officers entered the home and found the suspect, identified as Jordan Casillas of Clovis, hiding in the crawl space underneath the residence. Casillas was found with a loaded handgun that had been modified as an automatic weapon.<\/p>\n
No one was injured and no shots were fired, police said. Casillas was booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges, including possession of a loaded machine gun with an extended magazine and making criminal threats.<\/p>\n
