Bronny\u2019s career at USC was derailed due to a cardiac arrest episode in 2023 that revealed a congenital heart defect, though the young star was able to recover and return to the court later that year and was a solid performer for the USC Trojans during his college career.<\/p>\n

Bronny James was drafted 55th overall in the 2024 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, the same team where his father, LeBron James, plays.<\/p>\n

Bronny has bounced between the main Lakers roster and the team\u2019s G League team, the South Bay Lakers, during his two seasons in professional basketball.<\/p>\n

In his young Lakers career, Bronny, a shooting guard, has scored 91 total points, and in the 2025-2026 season is averaging 1.7 points per game.<\/p>\n
