{"id":115301,"date":"2025-12-31T19:35:02","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T19:35:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/115301\/"},"modified":"2025-12-31T19:35:02","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T19:35:02","slug":"local-stevie-wonder-impersonator-deemed-competent-for-trial-accused-of-child-sex-crimes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/115301\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Stevie Wonder impersonator deemed competent for trial, accused of child sex crimes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Tino Ibach, a local  Stevie Wonder impersonator, has been found competent to stand trial after <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/man-arrested-for-alleged-inappropriate-contact-with-child-at-store-bpd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">being accused of inappropriately touching a 3-year-old girl in Bakersfield<\/a>, according to the Kern County Superior Court website.<\/p>\n<p>On June 30, 2025, Ibach allegedly grabbed a 3-year-old at a Stockdale Highway gas station before being confronted by the girl&#8217;s mother and store employees. In August, a doctor determined Ibach was incompetent to stand trial.
