(KGET) \u2014 Two inmates were injured after an incident at Kern Valley State Prison Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Officials with the Kern Valley State Prison said staff saw two inmates striking each other in the dayroom around 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Staff used chemical agents to stop the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Both of the inmates involved in the incident sustained injuries and were transported to an outside medical facility and were treated.
