They blew past the Averroes Falcon<\/a> 84-48. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.<\/p>\n As for Averroes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8. While losing is never fun, they can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ California basketball rankings (they are ranked 817th, while Fresno Christian is ranked 223rd).<\/p>\n Despite the loss, Averroes still got an impressive performance from Naeem Rivers<\/a>, who went 10-for-15 en route to 31 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaid Lodhi<\/a>, who posted 12 points.<\/p>\n Fresno Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 70-68 victory against McLane on the 29th. As for Averroes, they also didn’t take long to hit the court again: they’ve already played their next contest, a 60-44 win against Corcoran on the 29th.<\/p>\n
