A man was robbed Saturday morning, allegedly by a 15-year-old boy in Long Beach, where a shot was fired but no one was injured during the robbery, authorities said.<\/p>\n
The suspect was subsequently arrested and officers recovered a firearm, the Long Beach Police Department reported.<\/p>\n
Officers responding at 1:35 a.m. Saturday to an unrelated battery in the area of Broadway and Tribune Court spotted the robbery nearby.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the robbery, a physical altercation occurred and the suspect fired the gun. The suspect fled the scene as officers arrived. No injuries were reported,\u201d according to a police statement. \u201cOfficers located and arrested the suspect nearby. Officers recovered the firearm.\u201d<\/p>\n
