{"id":119409,"date":"2026-01-04T04:14:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T04:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/119409\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T04:14:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T04:14:13","slug":"teens-arrested-in-connection-to-deadly-shooting-at-foods-co-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/119409\/","title":{"rendered":"Teens arrested in connection to deadly shooting at Foods Co,"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BAKERSFIELD, Calif KBAK\/KBFX \u2014 Bakersfield Police Department arrested two 17-year-old boys in connection with a <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/man-dies-after-shooting-at-foods-co-parking-lot-on-white-lane-bakersfield-kern-county-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">fatal shooting at Foods Co. on Jan. 2<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The incident, which occurred at 1801 White Lane, began as a robbery inside the store. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/man-dies-after-shooting-at-foods-co-parking-lot-on-white-lane-bakersfield-kern-county-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PREVIOUS REPORTING: Man dies after shooting at Foods Co. parking lot on White Lane<\/a><\/p>\n<p>BPD said when the suspects fled to the parking lot, they were confronted by patrons who attempted to intervene. <\/p>\n<p>According to police, one suspect then fired multiple rounds, striking and killing a man.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects were apprehended on Jan. 3 in the 500 block of H Street.
