FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 A driver was killed, and two others were injured in a multi-car pile-up on Highway 99 on Sunday, CHP says.<\/p>\n
Fresno CHP received reports of a wrong-way driver on Highway 99 at around 2 p.m.<\/p>\n
Later, reports of a car accident occurred with the vehicle on the southbound side of Highway 99.<\/p>\n
According to the investigation, a 58-year-old male was driving a Ford Ranger northbound on the southbound side of Highway 99.<\/p>\n
Two vehicles going southbound were unable to avoid the Ford Ranger and crashed.<\/p>\n
All three vehicles blocked two lanes on Highway 99.<\/p>\n
All three drivers were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for injuries.<\/p>\n
However, despite life-saving measures, the Ford Ranger driver was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in this crash.<\/p>\n
