Fresno<\/a> entered their tilt with Golden West<\/a> on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they’ll enter their next game with four. They took down the Trailblazers 69-52. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trailblazers, too.<\/p>\n Layfayette Frierson<\/a> was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Johnson<\/a>, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 11 points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds.<\/p>\n Fresno smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.<\/p>\n When it comes to explaining why Golden West lost, don’t look at Adrian Huerta<\/a>. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points. Noah Apolinario<\/a> was another key player, putting up ten points.<\/p>\n Fresno’s win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Golden West, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.<\/p>\n Fresno and Golden West will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors will challenge rival Madera at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Golden West is set to take on their familiar foe Monache at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
