\n\tUPDATED, 11 AM: The man arrested for allegedly shooting into the lobby of Sacramento ABC<\/a> affiliate KXTV (ABC10<\/a>) was released from jail on bond Saturday, then taken back into custody by the FBI on a federal charge, according to Sacramento County Main Jail records.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnibal Hernandezsantana, 64, of Sacramento, was arrested in connection with Friday\u2019s shooting on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm. <\/p>\n

\n\tSacramento officials confirmed Hernandezsantana had been released from the jail by Saturday afternoon after posting $200,000 bail. He was then arrested later that day on federal charges, an FBI spokesperson told the Sacramento Bee.<\/p>\n

\n\tHernandezsantana is accused of violating federal statute 47 USC 333, which states no person can \u201cwillfully or maliciously interfere\u201d with radio communications licensed or authorized by the federal government. <\/p>\n

\n\tHe remains in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe shooting Friday occurred one day after a protest was held outside the station over the network\u2019s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> Live! <\/p>\n

\n\tThe motive of the shooting remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

\n\tHernandezsantana is scheduled to appear in Sacramento federal court Monday. He\u2019s due to appear in Sacramento Superior Court Tuesday afternoon on the local charges. according to jail records.<\/p>\n

\n\tOfficers responded to reports of shots fired at the TV station shortly after 1:30 pm Friday. Sacramento Police Officer Anthony Gamble said at least three gunshots were fired at the building from a passing vehicle. <\/p>\n

\n\tPolice later was able to identify the vehicle, leading officers to a Sacramento residence and Hernandezsantana\u2019s subsequent arrest.<\/p>\n

\n\tABC News photos showed three bullet holes in the window of the building\u2019s lobby. The station said a person was in the lobby at the time of the shooting, but was not injured. <\/p>\n

\n\tHernandezsantana was being booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement to ABC News, ABC10 station owner Tegna, said it \u201cis fully cooperating with law enforcement and have taken additional measures to ensure the continued safety of our employees.\u201d Security also has been increased at the station. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe demonstration outside the building Thursday was part of widespread protests over ABC\u2019s suspension of Kimmel<\/a> following his comments about Charlie Kirk<\/a>, including one held outside Disney studios in Burbank<\/a> and another in Hollywood<\/a> where Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a>! is taped. Attendees at the Sacramento protest held signs reading \u201cFirst Amendment,\u201d \u201cResist\u201d and \u201cYou\u2019re Next\u201d among others.<\/p>\n
