They came out on top against the Alameda Hornets<\/a> by a score of 63-55.<\/p>\n Bakersfield Christian’s win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tia Nichols<\/a>, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 22 boards. That’s the most rebounds Nichols has posted since back in January. Kalaya Miller<\/a> was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 13 boards.<\/p>\n Bakersfield Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now pulled down at least 15 offensive boards in eight consecutive games.<\/p>\n Alameda’s defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Desiree Shoblo<\/a>, who shot 47% from the field on her way to 28 points and three steals. Shoblo is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she’s now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marissa Allen<\/a>, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.<\/p>\n Bakersfield Christian’s win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Alameda, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.<\/p>\n Bakersfield Christian didn’t take long to hit the court again: they’ve already played their next matchup, a 64-52 defeat against Windward on the 29th. As for Alameda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-39 loss against Bishop Montgomery on the 29th.<\/p>\n
