Christopher Oakley said.<\/p>\n<p>Juan Toro, 45, was attending a party and at some point a fight erupted and shots were fired, Oakley said.<\/p>\n<p>Toro died at the scene from gunshot wounds, according to the medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost of the people fled before officers arrived,\u201d Oakley said.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives don\u2019t know what started the fight, and if Toro was involved in the dispute. Investigators didn\u2019t have a description of the suspect or suspects.<\/p>\n<p>A woman who answered the phone at the equestrian center said they don\u2019t know what happened and declined to comment.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives asked that anyone with information about the shooting, possibly including any surveillance video, call the Sheriff\u2019s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
