\"\"December 31, 2025 \u2014\u00a0Fresno County Fire crews quickly contained a vehicle fire Tuesday that broke out in front of a residence in Clovis, preventing what could have been a far more devastating situation for the homeowners.<\/p>\n

Firefighters responded to the area near Shaw and McCall avenues, where they found a pickup truck fully engulfed in flames parked in front of the home. Crews were able to knock down the fire before it spread to the residence or nearby structures.<\/p>\n

While no injuries were reported, the incident comes at a particularly difficult time of year. Just days after Christmas and on the cusp of the New Year, a sudden fire can add stress and uncertainty for families already navigating a busy and often emotional season.<\/p>\n

Fire officials remained on scene to ensure the area was safe and to begin determining the cause of the fire. The incident also serves as a reminder of the importance of fire prevention and quick reporting, especially in residential neighborhoods where a single vehicle fire can rapidly escalate.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the fast response of firefighters, the damage was limited to the vehicle, and the home and its occupants were spared from further loss.<\/p>\n
