BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) \u2014 The Truxtun Tower, also known as the Bank of America building, is one of downtown Bakersfield\u2019s most prominent structures.<\/p>\n
The Bakersfield City Council is set to discuss purchasing that building, according to the agenda, during a closed session meeting on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The council is slated to negotiate the price and terms of payment for 1430 and 1440 Truxtun avenues, the agenda says.<\/p>\n
