(KFSN) &#8212; A woman has been injured after being hit by a vehicle near Blackstone and Ashlan Avenues Saturday evening, Fresno Police say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Officers responded to a call involving a woman in her 20s lying in the road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Medics arrived and provided the woman first aid. She was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to Fresno PD, the victim was involved in a conflict on the northwest corner of Ashlan and Blackstone. She then ran across the street at which point she was hit by the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police tell Action News the driver stayed on the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The area is closed while detectives continue to investigate.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
