Bakersfield posted a solid offensive performance, shooting 48% from the field and converting 33% of their three-point attempts, but the `Runner defense was the primary catalyst to the team’s dominant victory. CSUB held the Beach to 27% shooting from the field and just 20% from behind the arc.<\/p>\n
The `Runners were led by post player Tena Ikidi, who finished three blocks shy of a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 blocks. Chrishawn Coleman chipped in 15 points and 4 assists, Morgan Hawkins added 6 points and 7 assists, and Maria Dias tallied 14 points in the win. Aliyah Carter did a little bit of everything with 4 points, 8 boards, and 3 assists on Saturday.<\/p>\n
