{"id":129619,"date":"2026-01-11T23:51:06","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T23:51:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/129619\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T23:51:06","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T23:51:06","slug":"high-winds-to-continue-this-week-with-warmer-temperatures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/129619\/","title":{"rendered":"High Winds to Continue This Week, With Warmer Temperatures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gusty Santa Ana winds are expected to continue across parts of Los Angeles County for much of the week, forecasters said Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The National Weather Service extended a wind advisory until at least 1 p.m. Monday in large swaths of Los Angeles County, including Malibu, Pacific Palisades, the Santa Monica Mountains and the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope valleys.<\/p>\n<p>The advisory was originally expected to expire Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>An advisory for Orange County will continue until at least 2 p.m. Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,\u201d forecasters said. \u201cWinds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
