Gusty Santa Ana winds are expected to continue across parts of Los Angeles County for much of the week, forecasters said Monday.<\/p>\n
The National Weather Service extended a wind advisory until at least 1 p.m. Monday in large swaths of Los Angeles County, including Malibu, Pacific Palisades, the Santa Monica Mountains and the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope valleys.<\/p>\n
The advisory was originally expected to expire Sunday, but was extended Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n
An advisory for Orange County will continue until at least 2 p.m. Monday.<\/p>\n
\u201cGusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,\u201d forecasters said. \u201cWinds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution.\u201d<\/p>\n
Northeast winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.<\/p>\n
