(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 At least one person is dead after a crash on South Union Avenue early Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The CHP\u2019s website said on Monday, January 12, 2026, at around 6:17 a.m., there was a report of a crash between a sedan and a pedestrian on South Union Avenue and Garden Drive.<\/p>\n<p>The website said the coroner\u2019s office was called.<\/p>\n<p>It is unknown who died or if anyone else was hurt.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
