Justin Barcia says he’s \u2018extremely beat up\u2019 after Anaheim crash<\/p>\n

\u201cThe main event wasn\u2019t good. Unfortunately, someone rolled the triple, I was already committed, and I\u2019m pretty sure that\u2019s about all I remember from there \u2013 a tough one,\u201d Barcia said in a nearly two-minute video message shared on Instagram. He called himself \u201cextremely lucky\u201d to be able to \u201cwalk out of the hospital under my own power.\u201d \u201cGod was looking after me yesterday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Calling the crash a \u201creally scary one,\u201d Barcia admitted he is \u201cextremely beat up.\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve throughout my career had some heavy hits, but this one is the heaviest of them,\u201d he went on, explaining that he has \u201cnever been so sore in my life.\u201d He further revealed that his injuries have rendered him unable to move his neck. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy back hurts really bad. That was a big worry for us, my back and I got away with it,\u201d he continued, adding, \u201cI only broke a little wing on my back so no surgery. My spine is stable. Everything\u2019s really good so I just need to recover from here on out.\u201d However, he thinks that his \u201cbody\u2019s feeling okay. Obviously, it\u2019s really sore. I think the next few days will show a lot more stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

On a positive note, he thanked his supporters for reaching out and \u201csticking behind me.\u201d \u201cThe first race on Ducati <\/a>was going good, and unfortunately, these things happen and looking forward to getting back out with my team. Thank you and see you soon,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n

Malcolm Stewart reveals shoulder injury, sends prayers for Justin Barcia<\/p>\n

Stewart shared a carousel of race day photos on Instagram, speaking out about the crash. \u201cFirst and foremost, sending prayers to the Barcia family. I\u2019m gutted by how this situation unfolded and truly hope he\u2019s okay,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI did sustain a shoulder injury and will update you all after further evaluation. I\u2019m going to do everything I can to be back out there.
