(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 CHP Bakersfield said a dog was safely returned home after his owner was allegedly driving impaired, with a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit.<\/p>\n<p>CHP Bakersfield posted the dog, Charlie, on their social media.<\/p>\n<p>The post said that Charlie was inside a vehicle while his owner was driving impaired, with a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThankfully, Charlie was safely returned to his owner\u2019s home and was not injured,\u201d said in the post.<\/p>\n<p>CHP Bakersfield is reminding everyone that driving under the influence puts everyone at risk, drivers, passengers, other motorists, and pets.<\/p>\n<p>CHP reminds the public to always plan ahead and designate a sober driver.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
