\n\tThursday Boot Company is expanding its retail<\/a> footprint to the West Coast.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing a soft opening in December, the footwear brand has officially opened its newest retail<\/a> location at 449 Octavia Street in San Francisco. The debut marks the company\u2019s fifth store nationwide, with other locations in New York, where there are two stores, Chicago<\/a> and Paramus, N.J.<\/p>\n

\n\tLocated in the heart of the Hayes Valley neighborhood, the San Francisco store offers the company\u2019s full collection of men\u2019s and women\u2019s footwear<\/a>, leather goods, and accessories and aims to reflect the area\u2019s blend of historic character and modern creativity.<\/p>\n

\n\tDesigned and completed in partnership with CHB Designs and All Day Breakfast, the company noted that the new space pairs warm woods, bright metal accents, and clean architectural lines as subtle nods to the neighborhood\u2019s Victorian heritage. What\u2019s more, the store\u2019s color palette draws inspiration from San Francisco\u2019s iconic fog, layering pale blues, soft greys, and muted greens throughout the space.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe store also highlights Bay Area fabricators, artisans, and tradespeople, with vintage furnishings sourced from local destinations including Stuff in the Mission District and Grand Central Station Antiques in Oakland.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther design details take cues from well-loved dive bars \u2013 another nod to the brand\u2019s roots with subtle references like a dartboard, pool table accents, curated vintage barware, and a brass seal.<\/p>\n

\n\tConnor Wilson<\/a>, co-founder and executive chairman of Thursday Boot Company, said in a statement that the new store opening<\/a> feels like a \u201cfull circle\u201d moment.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOur first days as a company were spent selling boots out of bars, one person at a time,\u201d Wilson noted. \u201cWe wanted to capture that same warmth and hospitality, a place that feels welcoming the moment you step inside. Whether it\u2019s a new pair of boots or a physical store, we always believe the details matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTo celebrate the opening, the company is hosting an event now through Sunday, Jan. 18. Festivities will include daily exclusive product giveaways, complimentary refreshments, and free tattoos with purchase on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of local tattoo studio Idle Hands.<\/p>\n

\n\tLooking to 2026, the company plans to further accelerate its retail expansion, with more stores slated to open in new cities across the United States.<\/p>\n
