(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Taft College has received support from a major company that will help expand support for students.<\/p>\n<p>Bank of America has named Taft College as a Neighborhood Builder and is awarding them with a $50,000 dollar grant.<\/p>\n<p>The money will go towards leadership development and the expansion of a paid nursing internship program that aims at addressing Kern County&#8217;s critical healthcare worker shortage.<\/p>\n<p>Taft College Foundation Executive director Sheri Horn Bunk joined ARC Bakersfield to share how this grant is making a positive impact.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
