Pascagoula<\/a> extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 15-6. They simply couldn’t be stopped as they easily beat the Long Beach Bearcats<\/a> 76-39. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.<\/p>\n Pascagoula’s win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hayden Burns<\/a>, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Nettles<\/a>, who shot 56% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.<\/p>\n As for Long Beach, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13. While losing is never fun, they can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while Pascagoula is ranked 34th).<\/p>\n Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Leroy Cameron<\/a>, who posted ten points.<\/p>\n Looking ahead, Pascagoula will host Northwest Rankin at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Long Beach, they will head out to challenge Gautier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
