(File photo courtesy of OnScene.TV)<\/p>\n<p>An investigation was underway Monday into the \u2018homicidal\u2019 deaths of two people in San Diego\u2019s Grant Hill neighborhood, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded around 12:26 a.m. to reports of two bodies on the street in the 100 block of 27th Street near the intersection of Imperial Avenue, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandiego.gov\/police\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">San Diego Police Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the man and woman, both in their late 20s to early 30s, were apparently victims of \u201chomicidal violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers looked inside a vehicle parked near the victims and observed three young children, all under the age of two, seemingly unharmed inside,\u201d Public Information Officer Lt. Ceasar Jimenez said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The children were taken into protective custody, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives were in the area through the night and into the morning processing the scene and looking for witnesses.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities urged anyone with further information to call the Homicide Unit at 619-531-2293 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.<\/p>\n<p>City News Service contributed to this article.<\/p>\n<p>READ NEXT\n\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A San Diego Police cruiser.
