American tennis star Sebastian Korda will play in next week\u2019s Better Buzz Coffee San Diego Open at the Barnes Tennis Center.<\/p>\n
Korda, who has been ranked as high as No. 15 in the ATP rankings, accepted a wild-card invitation to the event. The 100-level men\u2019s ATP Challenger and women\u2019s 100-level ITF World Tennis Tour event starts Monday in Point Loma.<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old Korda, a native of Bradenton, Fla., made the Australian Open quarterfinals in 2023. He has also made deep runs at both the French Open and Wimbledon.<\/p>\n
