FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 Fresno Yosemite International Airport has announced a record-breaking year in 2025, serving over 2,700,000 passengers. <\/p>\n
IN 2025 thhe airport served 2,752,392 passengers, which is a 2.97% increase over the 2024 total of 2,672,881 passengers.<\/p>\n
The completion of FAT’s major terminal expansion project, FAT Forward, in December positions the airport to meet current and future travel demands. <\/p>\n
“Surpassing 2.7 million passengers in 2025 marks a significant milestone for Fresno Yosemite International Airport and our region,” said Mayor Jerry Dyer. “The airport remains a powerful driver of jobs and economic growth across the Central Valley.”<\/p>\n
International passenger volumes also grew in 2025, with 433,636 travelers flying between FAT and Mexico, a 4% increase over 2024.<\/p>\n
On the cargo side, FAT handled over 20 million pounds of cargo in 2025.<\/p>\n
Interim Director of Aviation Francisco Partida noted, “The continued growth in passenger traffic at Fresno Yosemite International Airport reflects our airline partners\u2019 confidence in the region\u2019s strong demand for air travel.”<\/p>\n
Notable air service highlights for 2025 include the introduction of twice-daily nonstop service between FAT and San Diego International Airport and the return of United Airlines’ seasonal nonstop service to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.<\/p>\n
The airport has also increased flight plans to Las Vegas during peak season.<\/p>\n
Enhancements to the traveler experience include new dining options debuting in February.<\/p>\n
A Terminal Refresh Project aims to modernize the passenger experience.<\/p>\n
