OAKLAND, Calif. – An Oakland hotel is closing after just a few years in business.<\/p>\n

The San Francisco Standard<\/a> reports the Moxy Hotel on Telegraph Avenue has stopped accepting reservations and has closed its bar.<\/p>\n

The hotel opened in the spring of 2021 and reportedly defaulted on a $35 million loan last summer.<\/p>\n

It is not yet known how many employees will be affected by the closure.<\/p>\n
