FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The Fresno State student lecturer previously placed on leave over comments about the death of Charlie Kirk has returned.<\/p>\n

EDITOR’S NOTE: The video above is from a previous broadcast and will be updated.<\/p>\n

Action News was told that they resumed teaching for the spring semester, which began last week.<\/p>\n

The university did not provide any additional comment.<\/p>\n

After Kirk’s death last September, a video circulating online appeared to show the lecturer making a remark during class.<\/p>\n

Fresno State called a comment made “disturbing.”<\/p>\n

At the time, Action News did not independently verify the video’s authenticity, but it was viewed hundreds of thousands of times and sparked strong reactions from students.<\/p>\n
