(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Strong reactions emerged in Kern County as President Donald Trump marked the one-year mark of his second term. <\/p>\n<p>Protesters walked off the job and out of classrooms to voice their opposition to policies they claim are hurting communities nationwide.<\/p>\n<p> A rally took place at the Liberty Bell on Truxtun Avenue, where participants protested against &#8220;Trump-pushed policies&#8221; ranging from ICE raids to abortion bans across the U.S. <\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s protest was part of hundreds held across the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
