CCWC image<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tpublished on January 21, 2026 &#8211; 2:46 PM<br \/>Written by <a href=\"https:\/\/thebusinessjournal.com\/byline\/ben-hensley\/\" rel=\"tag nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ben Hensley<\/a><\/p>\n<p>With just ten days remaining until the Jan. 31 deadline, nonprofits supporting women and children across the Valley are being urged to apply for the Central California Women\u2019s Conference (CCWC) annual Nen\u00e9 Casares Community Grants.<\/p>\n<p>The grants, which have served various nonprofits and community benefit organizations throughout the Valley for the last 36 years, will be distributed this April during the Nen\u00e9 Casares Celebration of Service Grant Reception, and highlight the conference\u2019s focus on driving positive change in local communities.<\/p>\n<p>In its 36-year history, CCWC has donated over $1.75 million to over 165 nonprofits supporting women and children, with this year seeing over $110,000 in grants to 72 local community benefit organizations. The contributions, one of the most meaningful parts of the conference, focus on making a lasting difference in the community, providing direct funding to local nonprofits and making a notable difference in local communities, organizers say.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Central California Women\u2019s Conference was built on the belief that empowered women empower communities,\u201d shares CCWC Board President Teri Amerine. \u201cThrough the Nen\u00e9 Casares Grant and the \u2018She Makes a Difference\u2019 Award, we are proud to invest in both the organizations and the individual women creating real change across the Valley.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The application period, which opened earlier this month, will draw to a close on Jan. 31 at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>CCWC has supports organizations addressing health, education, safety, economic empowerment and an overall well-being for women and children in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Completed applications will be reviewed by the CCWC Board of Directors.
