BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Local artist Noe Silva showcased his painting “Full Bloom,” which he described as a making a representation for Black women.<\/p>\n

Silva explained that the inspiration behind the artwork is to make people pause and reflect. <\/p>\n

“The inspiration behind this, you know the music I listen to, and this was me experimenting with different aspects of art,” said Silva. <\/p>\n

The painting was a gift to his mother for Mother’s Day.<\/p>\n

Silva hopes his art serves as a source of encouragement for others and encourages people to pursue art.<\/p>\n
