ANDERSON, Calif. –\u00a0The California Highway Patrol is investigating a three car crash involving a Shasta County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle.<\/p>\n
Authorities say at around 4:05 p.m. on Thursday, officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to the area of Happy Valley Road and White Oak Drive in Anderson after receiving reports of a three vehicle crash, one of which was a patrol SUV from the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival at the scene, officers and first responders found a crash that involved two sedans and the patrol SUV. According to the CHP, the civilians and the sheriff deputy sustained minor injuries in the crash.<\/p>\n
The California Highway Patrol says that Happy Valley Road was closed to traffic for approximately 40 minutes while emergency crews worked the accident scene.<\/p>\n
In a phone call to Action News Now, the CHP says that there were alternative routes in place for drivers to get around the closure caused by the crash.<\/p>\n
