\t\t\t\tThe No. 15 California Golden Bears (4-1) suffered their first loss of the season against the No. 17 Oklahoma Sooners (3-0), 4-2, in their first match of the ITA Kickoff Weekend, at Hellman Tennis Complex on Friday.<\/p>\n
To begin the match, Cal secured the doubles point after doubles wins on courts two and three. On court two, Fryderyk Lechno-Wasiutynski<\/a> and Andrea Meduri<\/a> won 6-4, while teammates Alex Aney<\/a> and Leonardo Cattaneo<\/a> clinched the doubles point with a 7-6(10) win.<\/p>\n In singles play against the Sooners, the Bears fell short on courts, one, three, four and six with Timofey Stepanov<\/a> giving Cal its only point with a 6-4, 7-6(2) win over No. 46 Luis Alvarez on court two.\u00a0<\/p>\n Cal vs. Oklahoma Breakdown
