FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 The Fresno Christian boys’ basketball team stretched its win streak to 16 games Friday night, dispatching Liberty HS of Madera Ranchos, 82-62.<\/p>\n
The defending Central Section D-IV champions improved their record to 19-1 this season. The Eagles weren’t the only local high school team hoping to keep the good times rolling.<\/p>\n
Over at Clovis East, the Buchanan Bears erased a 15-point deficit in the span of six minutes during the 3rd quarter. <\/p>\n
Propelled by a flurry of 3-pointers and anchored by tough defense, the Bears defeated the T-Wolves, 61-49. <\/p>\n
Buchanan (21-2 overall) is off to a 5-0 start in the challenging Tri-River Athletic Conference. <\/p>\n
