The least capped Starting XI since 2001 before this afternoon came against New Zealand on Oct. 29, 2025, with 17.3 caps heading into the match, which is a just bit lower than the April 8, 2025, Starting XI vs. Brazil which averaged 17.9 caps per player.The caps for today\u2019s starting lineup is 55% lower than the previous lowest average caps for a Starting XI in 25 years.The roster for this camp exclusively features NWSL players from 14 clubs, Seattle Reign FC and Washington Spirit lead the league in representation with five players each in camp: Claudia Dickey, Sam Meza, Sally Menti, Maddie Dahlien and Jordyn Bugg from Seattle; Tara Rudd, Croix Bethune, Hal Hershfelt, Kate Wiesner and the newly re-signed Trinity Rodman from the Spirit. Eleven players debuted for the USWNT in 2024, which was the most in a calendar year since 2001, when 15 players \u2013 including eventual World Cup champions Abby Wambach and Lori Chalupny \u2013 earned their first caps.Reilyn Turner becomes the first player in 2026 to earn her USWNT debut this afternoon and earns her first start for the U.S. at the same time. McGlynn was the 27th goalkeeper in USWNT history to earn a cap when she played against Argentina on Oct. 30 2024, and is the ninth GK in U.S. history to earn a shutout in her debut.<\/p>\n<p>Trinity Rodman, 23, earns her 48th cap, returning to international play for the first time since April 5, 2025, vs. Brazil and for only the second time since winning the Olympics in 2024. Rodman just re-signed with Washington Spirit on a multi-million-dollar contract that spans three years. Rodman hails from Laguna Niguel, Calif., just down the freeway in Orange County.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy Wesley, 24, earns her third cap tonight and second start for the USWNT. The San Diego Wave FC defender earned her first call-up in the 2025 October FIFA window. Wesley hails from Seal Beach, Calif., which is also very close to the Dignity Health Sports Park.<\/p>\n<p>Tara Rudd, 26, earns her 10th cap and eighth start. Rudd (formerly McKeown) got married over the off season and has changed the name on the back of her jersey. Rudd made her first start and appearance in the first match of 2025, a SheBelieves faceoff with Colombia. The U.S. won the match 2-0.<\/p>\n<p>Ally Sentnor, 21, earns her 14th cap and seventh start. Sentnor made her first senior team appearance on Nov. 30, 2024, against England, coming on for Lindsey Horan in the 87th minute in front of 78,346 fans at Wembley Stadium. She also captained the U-20 WNT to earn third in the 2024 FIFA u-20 Women\u2019s World Cup and would go on to win 2024 U.S. Soccer Young Player of the Year. She has four international goals and three assists in her 13 appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Lo\u2019eau LaBonta, 32, earns her first start for the USWNT in her fifth cap. The Kansas City Current veteran, captain and midfield anchor became the oldest player to debut for the USWNT program in its 40-year history when she came on in the 70th minute vs. China PR on May 31.<\/p>\n<p>Olivia Moultrie, 20, earns her 12th appearance and sixth start. The 20-year-old scored braces for her first four international goals, the first in her first start on Feb. 20, 2024 vs. Dominican Republic, the second on Oct. 26, 2025 vs. Portugal. Her fifth international goal came in her most recent appearance for the U.S., the Americans\u2019 3-0 win over Italy on Nov. 28, 2025. Moultrie played youth soccer in Southern California before moving to Oregon.<\/p>\n<p>Izzy Rodriguez, 26, earns her second start in as many appearances for the U.S. The defender made her international debut on June 29 vs. Ireland in what was ultimately a 4-0 shutout win.<\/p>\n<p>Claire Hutton, 20, earns her 12th cap and tenth start. Hutton\u2019s first call-up was in February of 2025, and she made her debut in the second match of her first camp. Last NWSL season, she played in 24 of the Current\u2019s 25 regular season matches, playing a major role in the runaway Sheild winners\u2019 success.<\/p>\n<p>Gisele Thompson, 20, makes her fifth appearance and third start. The Angel City fullback earned her first appearance and her first start in back-to-back SheBelieves matches to start 2025. She hails from Studio City, Calif. and players for her hometown club in the NWSL, Angel City FC.<\/p>\n<p>Reilyn Turner, 23, makes her senior international debut in this match. Turner attended the January 2025 Futures Camp and the U.S. U-23 WNT training camp in Los Angeles in April. She scored six goals and earned one assist for Portland in 2025.
