With the Bulldogs playing more help defense on him, Henley drove and kicked to Williams for a go-ahead 3-pointer with 6:18 to go. He was spectacular, him and Makaih. I thought they made really good decisions the last five minutes. They were strong with the ball. Obviously, Jaden’s finishes were just sensational around the rim. I thought Makaih made a huge play, the and-one out of a timeout. That was a huge play because they were on a run.”

What’s next?
The Lopes return to Phoenix for practices before going back on the road for a Tuesday night game at Nevada, which lost Saturday at New Mexico to go to 6-3 in conference play.

Return to gculopes.com for Paul Coro‘s full game story with quotes from head coaches Bryce Drew and Jaden Henley.

FRESNO, Calif. – Grand Canyon moved to 3-1 in Mountain West road games by holding Fresno State to 30% shooting,…

[31
112,114,113
0":"post-148813","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-fresno","8":"tag-fresno","9":"tag-fresno-headlines","10":"tag-fresno-news
["GET
