Pre-season title contender Levi Kitchen said in a post-race press release that he is hoping to race round 4 of the 250SX West Division next Saturday in Houston after having to pull out of the main event at round 3 at Anaheim 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Washington native has had a brutal start to the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, having crashed in all three main events to begin the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
At the season opener in Anaheim, he charged from last to sixth. A week later in San Diego, he went from second-to-last to fourth.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But at the Anaheim 2 SX, his night ended before he even did half a lap in the main event.<\/p>\n
Following a hard slam in his heat race, Kitchen crash again off the start in the main event and was shown riding off through the tunnel.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Per the team, Kitchen said he pulled off due to an arm injury, but that he hopes to race in Houston.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a little bit of a frustrating day,\u201d said Kitchen. \u201cThe speed is there, and I feel good on the bike, but a few small things kept setting me back. The crash in the heat race was unfortunate, and then in the main I slid out and my arm got hit in the mix. It didn\u2019t feel great after that, so I pulled off, which was a bummer. The main thing is staying healthy so I can come back and fight in Houston.\u201d<\/p>\n
