Redwood<\/a> entered their tilt with Bakersfield<\/a> on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they’ll enter their next game with five. They enjoyed a cozy 56-39 win over the Drillers. With that victory, the Rangers brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.<\/p>\n Redwood had a senior duo take command as Jazmaine Stewart<\/a> shot 63% from the field en route to 14 points and three steals and Ahriel Madden<\/a> almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Madden has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times she’s played. Jayda Barnes<\/a> was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.<\/p>\n Redwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They are 14-6 when they hit their own glass that hard.<\/p>\n Redwood’s win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Bakersfield, they moved to 10-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.<\/p>\n Coming up, Redwood will venture away from home to challenge Porterville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bakersfield, they will take on Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Drillers will need to watch out since the Golden Hawks have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.<\/p>\n
