More than 70 flights into and out of San Diego International Airport were canceled or delayed over the weekend due to a major winter storm gripping a vast stretch of the United States.<\/p>\n
As of mid-day Sunday, 79 flights had been cancelled and 47 flights were delayed, according to\u00a0Flight Aware<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0SAN website<\/a>. That adds to the 72 flights that experienced cancellations and delays Saturday.<\/p>\n “My son in Cincinnati, his flight was canceled from Cincinatti to Minneapolis,” said Leann Ancier to NBC 7, who was waiting for at Terminal 2 for arrivals after landing at SAN. “It’s just aggravating,” Ancier added.<\/p>\n “Delayed for three hours so far,” said Vanessa Garcia, another traveler. “It started at 3 o’clock.
