BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 There are reports of over 15 vehicles involved in a crash on eastbound Highway 58 near Towerline Road Tuesday morning, causing closures to both sides of the highway.<\/p>\n
According to the CHP\u2019s website, at around 8:07 a.m., it was initially reported there was three vehicles involved in a crash on eastbound Highway 58 near Towerline Road. The website said there was heavy fog in the area.<\/p>\n
The CHP\u2019s website said that within 10 minutes, there was reported over 20 vehicles involved.<\/p>\n
Caltrans District 6 said Highway 58 is closed in both directions, eastbound at Towerline Road and westbound at Highway 223.<\/p>\n
Caltrans said in a social media post that there were about 15 vehicles involved.<\/p>\n
There is no estimated time on reopening.<\/p>\n
CHP\u2019s website is reporting there are injuries.<\/p>\n
