County has become an epicenter for health care fraud in America,\u201d the White House Medicaid czar wrote. \u201cCriminals have corrupted the system so much that fraud is now almost expected.<\/p>\n<p>Oz said on Monday that the Trump administration is \u201caggressively\u201d targeting the Russian and Armenian mob to crack down on medical fraud in the Golden State while threatening a major campaign against the alleged gangsters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis mafia seems to have taken over the system,\u201d he said in another <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DrOzCMS\/status\/2015808682202669495?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">video.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The clips builds on news Oz broke earlier this month that hospice care in Los Angeles increased \u201csevenfold in the last five years\u201d \u2014 a rate he told The Post sparked an investigation.<\/p>\n<p>He continues to blame foreign gangsters, likely from Russia or Armenia, who are corrupting doctors and defrauding the medical system by enrolling ineligible patients in hospice care and billing for services not rendered.<\/p>\n<p>Oz claimed that the \u201cscale is huge\u201d in California and makes the Medicaid fraud in Minnesota pale in comparison.<\/p>\n<p>The former surgeon has been <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/tag\/dr-oz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">going head-to-head with Gov. Tim Walz since last month<\/a> \u2014 and is withholding Medicaid funding until the Midwest state restores \u201cthe integrity\u201d of its program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"California Gov.
