Caltrans plans to close a westbound Highway 180 on-ramp at Cedar Avenue in Fresno on Wednesday for pavement striping operations.<\/p>\n
The closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., according to the California Department of Transportation. During that time, the existing carpool lane along the on-ramp will be converted into a general-purpose lane.<\/p>\n
Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and use alternate routes while the work is underway.<\/p>\n
Caltrans said closures could last longer if delays occur due to weather or other uncontrollable events. All work is weather permitting.<\/p>\n
Maintenance workers are reminding drivers to slow down, drive with extra caution and allow additional travel time when passing through the maintenance area.<\/p>\n
Motorists are also urged to watch for road maintenance personnel and \u201cSlow for the Cone Zone.\u201d<\/p>\n
